Director Bigelow has crafted the best drama of the year in this engaging character study of a man with an unusual addiction. 10/10

Star Trek is back with a vengeance! Whether you're a Trekkie or a casual filmgoer this is the best blockbuster of the year. 10/10

Aliens as a metaphor for racism in South Africa? District 9 is an unexpected gem. 10/10

Sam Raimi, the master of modern Horror-Camp returns after the Spider-Man trilogy and easily reminds everyone how fun a horror film can be. You'll squirm, you'll laugh- Drag Me To Hell is some of the most fun Hollywood has had to offer in years. 9/10

Adam is a unique romantic comedy/drama that left me completely moved. Adam's case of aspergers is of course dramaticly exagerated for the sake of the film, but not so much as to be offensive so the final result is a sweet, likable character. 9/10

I didn't have high hopes for this film, but I was pleasantly surprised by this kind-hearted return to Disney animated tradition. I can only hope that we see more of traditional animated films from Disney. 8/10

James Cameron's new Box Office SMASHER is entertaining for most of its running time, but far be it from the revolutionary film that the hype lead me to believe. I had high hopes and was ultimately disappointed by this Cameron ego trip. 8/10

Channeling every negative child emotion Where the Wild Things Are is an enjoyable, if not depressing family feature. 8/10

The most hyped comedy of 2009 certainly had its fare share of funny moments, but in the end I found it to be just another disposable comedy not unlike many others released each year. 7/10

Sacha Baron Cohen's latest character is not nearly as likable as Borat; in fact I had trouble putting up with the guy. Unlike Borat most of the jokes look staged and he just goes out of his way to get reactions. At least it was entertaining. 7/10

Another added sequel to the franchise fails to impress. 6/10

Really less of an origin story so much as a video game. 5/10

Did we honestly need to have another Friday the 13th movie? 4/10

This is without a doubt THE lowest common denominator. I enjoyed Bay's first Transformers film, but this was just horrible from beginning to end. 3/10
